BPF declares 4th list of candidates

KOKRAJHAR, March 12 � The Bodoland People�s Front (BPF) today declared the names of eight candidates in its fourth list for the ensuing BTC elections scheduled for April.

Talking to mediapersons here at the BPF office, supremo Hagrama Mohilary said that eleven senior members of the party were expelled due to their anti-party activities.

He said that the BPF will expel the members if they are found to be working against the interest of the party for the sake of discipline.

He further said that former MP Sansuma Khunggur Bwiswmuthiary and ex-MLA Parmeswar Brahma, who were not expelled earlier although they had stayed away from the party activities, were expelled today on the same ground.

Meanwhile, Mohilary has declared the names of eight candidates in the fourth list. The candidates are � Sahen Brahma for Porbotjhora, Nerswn Boro for Bhergaon, Rabin Bala Biswas for Nagrijuli, Suniram Basumatary for Chirang, Rajiv Brahma for Banargaon ST, Rahindra Brahma for Guma, Suresh Tanti for Naoni Serfang and Mrityunjay Brahma for Soraibil seats.

Mohilary also informed that the names of candidates for the remaining three constituencies of Dotma, Dihira and Baganpara would be announced after three days.
