Bosco Reach Out celebrates pre-Christmas

GUWAHATI, Dec 20 - Bosco Reach Out (BRO), a non-political and non-religious organisation and the official social development wing of the Salesian Province of Guwahati in North East, celebrated a pre-Christmas get-together at their Ulubari headquarters on the evening of October 18.

The main dignitaries of the programme were John Moolachira, Archbishop of Guwahati, Dr Dipali Deka, Professor and HoD, Department of Ophthalmology, Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Captain Robin Bordoloi, Congress MLA from East Guwahati, Fr. KJ Thomas, Director, BRO, Fr. Johnson Parackal, Executive Director, DBI, Kharghuli amongst

others.

The evening started with a Christmas choir sung by the office staff. This was followed by the welcome address of Fr. KJ Thomas, who welcomed everyone to BRO and thanked them for making it convenient to be a part of the celebrations. He also spoke on the essence of Christmas. This was followed by a carol and a skit presented by the staff members itself, after which Archbishop John Moolachira in his speech gave the Christmas message of love and peace. After the felicitations were over, Fr. Joseph Teron, Associate Director, BRO gave the formal vote of thanks.
