GUWAHATI, Feb 3 � Devotees of about 20 namghars of Panjabari area on Tuesday joined in a mass prayer known as Borsabha held at the Panjabari central namghar for the 18th year in succession in observance of Maghi Purnima.
Programme of the day began with prabhati kirtan by women devotees. The nam kirtan and prasanga were conducted by Ram Mahanta and Gopikanta Mahanta while Chandrakanta Baruah recited a chapter of the Srimad Bhagawat.
Dr Lalit Kumar Baruah, general secretary of the Borsabha Samiti, welcomed the devotees while president of the Samiti Kaumudi Kumar Dutta thanked the devotees for their cooperation.
