Book on moral education distributed among students of orphanage

GUWAHATI, Dec 19 - To spread moral education amongst the students Hiranmoyee India Foundation has been distributing books on moral education among the students of different schools and orphanage homes. On December 19, the Foundation distributed several copies of a book to the students of Snehalaya � an orphanage located at Noonmati. The book titled Puranic Dharmiya Kahinir Akajeli, translated by Bhupendra Mohan Talukdar from Pranab Saikia�s Stories from The Scripture published by Gokul Printers, New Delhi was distributed free of cost.

Coordinating the entire function, the founder of Hiranmoyee India Foundation Pranab Saikia said, �In the last three years, our Foundation has distributed more than 3,000 such books on moral education among the students of marginal backgrounds free of cost at different schools and orphanages in Delhi and Haryana. Now we have started our activities in the north-eastern parts of India. Since in today�s school curriculum, moral education is no more part of the syllabus, we are trying or best to fulfil that lacuna through our efforts. �Our foundation also running an old age home named �Parents Home� in Gurgaon where 11 elderly people are living and they are getting free food and lodging facilities.�

Writer Bhupendra Mohan Talukdar also encouraged students to work hard and achieve their goals keeping in mind the 3Ds � Desire, Determination and Devotion. These three words are the key to success in life and anything is possible if one keeps these three keywords in their mind.

Madar Holiban of Snehalaya highly appreciated the efforts of the Foundation for coming forward to help these students.
