GUWAHATI, Aug 22 - A book release function will be held in the Gauhati Hight Court Old Block premises from 3 pm on August 25, in which a book titled Gauhati High Court: History & Heritage will be launched, a press release issued here said.
The book launch ceremony will be attended by Justice Ranjan Gogoi as the chief guest and Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal as the guest of honour.
Following a welcome speech by Justice Arup Kr Goswami, the meeting will be addressed by author Arup Kumar Dutta, Kerala High Court Chief Justice Hrishikesh Roy, and Gauhati High Court Chief Justice Ajit Singh, while Supreme Court Judge Sharad Arvind Bobde will deliver the keynote address.
This will be followed by speeches by Justice Ranjan Gogoi and Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal.
The book is scheduled to be formally launched shortly after 4 pm.
