GUWAHATI, Jan 16 - Bongaigaon Refinery has been conferred with the prestigious Oil & Gas Conservation Fortnight Award (OGCF)-2017 in recognition of its outstanding performance in arresting steam leaks, which is a milestone towards energy conservation, stated a press release.
Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Skill Development, Dharmendra Pradhan presented the award to Bongaigaon Refinery in presence of Kapil Dev Tripathi, Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Sanjiv Singh, Chairman, IndianOil Corporation Ltd in the inaugural function of 22nd Refining & Petrochemicals Technology Meet (RPTM) held at Bhubaneswar from January 13 to 15th.
BV Ramagopal, ED (OSD), RHQ and GC Sikdar, Chief General Manager (In-Charge) received the award from the minister, the release added.
