IMPHAL, Dec 4 - A powerful bomb exploded early this morning in Manipur�s Imphal West district but there was no report of any casualty, police said.
The bomb, an improvised explosive device (IED) was suspected to be planted by unidentified persons to attack the Central security forces who were on duty nearby, the police said adding that no group or individual has claimed responsibility for the explosion.
The bomb exploded near Konthoujam Lamkhai area under the jurisdiction of Patsoi police station. � PTI
