GUWAHATI, June 18 - The body of a 32-year-old man was retrieved from a pond in Parly village of Kamrup district around 4 pm today. The person has been identified as Jayanta Boro, son of Heram Boro of the same village.
The man reportedly drowned when he had gone to take a bath in the pond along with another person.
�As per information received from the local authorities, a search and rescue team of the NDRF reached the site and continued the search operation. The body was handed over to the police,� NDRF sources said.
