HAILAKANDI, Dec 17 - The 15-member Hailakandi district committee of Manipuri Sahitya Parishad was constituted recently in a meeting held at Lala M Bacha ME School of Hailakandi district under the presidentship of K Bichindra Singha.
H Sukhendu Singha and NK Rabindra Singha were elected as president and general secretary of the committee, respectively. Th Manilal Singha was elected as vice-president of the committee. Benubabu Singha was the observer during the selection of the members of the committee.
K Ranjan Singha conducted the process of selection. Various resolutions were also unanimously adopted in the meeting.
