Bodo Sahitya Sabha condoles tremor deaths

GUWAHATI, April 28 � The Bodo Sahitya Sabha has expressed its deep sorrow at the destruction and death due to the massive earthquake in Nepal on April 25 which left nearly 4,000 people dead, including 72 in India, and injured scores others.

In a statement here on Monday, the Sabha also condoled the death of those killed and prayed for eternal peace of the departed and speedy recovery of those injured in the calamity.

Expressing its sincere thanks and gratitude to the Central Government headed by Narendra Modi for its prompt action in extending all possible help for relief and rescue of the affected people, the Sabha also hailed the media for their role for the cause of the affected people.

The Sabha has also appealed to all NGOs, national organisations and individuals to extend all possible help and cooperation to mitigate the sufferings of the affected people.
