DIBRUGARH, Aug 22 - In a successful event, at least 174 students from different departments and centres of Dibrugarh University donated blood during a blood donation camp organised at the University Health Centre. The event was organised by Dibrugarh University Institute of Engineering and Technology under the banner Auxesis 5.0.
The camp was inaugurated by Professor Jiten Hazarika in the presence of Dr MC Bora, the Director of Dibrugarh University Institute of Engineering and Technology and faculty convener Kesab Biswakarma in the University Health Centre. The event is considered to be a rare in the region as several turned up in a single day, a release stated.
