HAILAKANDI, May 24: A blast occurred in a mosque along the Assam-Mizoram border area of Kachurthal in Hailakandi district on Friday.
Suspected Mizo miscreants are alleged to be involved in the blast. No casualties have been reported but the mosque was partially damaged.
A police team has rushed to the spot, and investigation is on.
Kachurthal is around 75 km from Hailakandi town.
