By A Correspondent

NAGAON, Feb 19 - The district units of the BJP Yuva Morcha and ABVP of Hojai last night filed two separate FIRs against two minority leaders of the district at Hojai police station and alleged that both leaders allegedly spoke against the country and shouted slogans in support of the neighbouring country, Pakistan in a peace rally taken out in memory of those who were recently martyred in the terror attack at Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir.

The FIR stated that a peace rally was taken out on Monday from Gopal Nagar in Hojai town by the students of Jamia Islamia Jallaliya Madrasa, Hojai. During the peace rally, the Hojai district president of All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF), Hallal Uddin Ahmed and Jamiat leader Mustaque Anfor allegedly shouted slogans like Pakistan Zindabad which was sternly against the Indian sovereignty as well as Indian Constitution.

Terming it as a big threat to India, in the FIRs signed by the district president of Hojai BJPYB, Ranjan Saha and the general secretary of ABVP, Deep Bhowal appealed to the district police authority to bring the issue under the law and also sought stern action against those two minority leaders of the district.
