Bjp receives flak

By Correspondent

TEZPUR, Nov 7 - Former BJP leader, Pradyut Bora, who is presently the president of the newly-formed political party, the Lokapryia Democratic Party (LDP) has come down heavily on the BJP, saying that it is without any morals, as every activity of its during the last few days, doesnt match with their ideology.

Bora who was addressing a press conference further alleged that as a fruition of the supreme sacrifice of nearly 855 Assamese people during the Assam Agitation, the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) came into being, fulfilling the much-cherished dream of the Assamese people. But pathetically its infrastructure and the faith of the common Assamese people in the party has collapsed, as most of the opportunist leaders have quit the party to join BJP only for their personal vested interests, he said.

He criticised AGPs senior leader Padma Hazarika, who joined the BJP recently, saying that only a few days back, Hazarika was often seen on many talk shows criticising the saffron party as having a communal agenda, but has now shamelessly joined the same party, demeaning his own status.

While the Tezpur MP, RP Sharma has said that the BJP is not a dustbin, many politically infamous and corrupt persons have been admitted into the party, Bora said.
