AGARTALA, April 20 - At a time when CPI(M) is grappling with the party Congress in Hyderabad, the ruling BJP is all set to hold a high-level State organisational meeting here on April 22 next.

BJP general secretary Ram Madhav, organisational secretaries Ajay Jamwal and Fanindranath Sharma, State in-charge Sunil Deodhar and other leaders would join the brain storming session. Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb and other key leaders would also join the meeting.

The meeting, which will deliberate on the partys coming political and organisational strategy, is also expected to prepare a roadmap for the Lok Sabha elections to be held early next year. Since 1993, the CPI (M) has been winning both the Lok Sabha constituencies of the State but this time the results may be different with the Left base dwindling after its humiliating defeat.

In the meeting, the organisation activities would be discussed threadbare, said a senior party functionary here on Friday.
