BJP Arunachal Pradesh observes foundation day

ITANAGAR, April 7 - Bharatiya Janata Party, Arunachal Pradesh, observed 36th foundation day of BJP along with the rest of the country at party head office, here yesterday.

A press release said, the foundation day was marked with the State president, Tai Tagak and senior leaders paying floral tributes to Bharat Mata, Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya of BJP and lighting of lamp.

BJP leaders recalled the contributions and foundation laid by its first president, Atal Bihari Vajpayee and LK Advani, who tirelessly worked for laying of the foundation of the present day Bharatiya Janata Party, with the basic principles of party ideology with the popular concept of �Nation First�.

Presiding over the foundation day celebration, State president, Tai Tagak, called upon the party leaders and workers to work for strengthening the party organisation and join the nationwide move for zero tolerance on corruption, the release said.
