GUWAHATI, Nov 29 - Former State table tennis champion Bijoy (Biju) Hazarika has been admitted into the Guwahati Medical College Hospital after suffering from heart attack last night. Now he is in the ICU.
Hazarika, was the president and secretary of the Assam Table Tennis Association (ATTA) and at present he is the chief adviser of the State TT body. He was also the director of the Government Press for several years. Informing this the ATTA secretary Tridib Duvarah said, Hazarika had represented the Assam team in national championship on many occasions.
