UDALGURI, Sept 24 - The local outfit Boroland AC thrashed defending champions Dhoopdhara Football Academy of Goalpara 5-1 in a third round match of the ongoing 23rd Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma Gold Cup football tournament played here at Udalguri Stadium today.
Swmkhwr Sawrgiary opened the account in the 11th minute while Wang Daimari netted the second goal in the 32 minute. Urkhaw Daimary made it 3-0 before the break scoring in the 35 minutes.
After the half time, Basanta Boro, netted the fourth in the 49th minute while Dhoopdhara striker Joly Patgiri managed to reduce the margin in the 52nd minute. It was Banjai Daimari of Boroland AC to complete the rout in the 65th minute.
