GUWAHATI, Aug 23 - A discussion on creating awareness among the students on the civil services preparations, both at the national and state level, was held in Jagiroad College recently, a press release stated. The discussion was organized by Bhadra IAS Academy, Maligaon, Guwahati, with the help and cooperation of Dr Bhaben Chandra Neog, principal, Jagiroad College. Dr Neog lamented the fact that though there are many aspirants of civil services in Jagiroad as well as the geater Morigaon area, they have not been able to take up training in this regard due to paucity of facilities in Jagiroad. Further, Dr Neog said, the aspirants coming from economically poor background cannot afford to take training in Guwahati. He emphasized opening a centre on civil services coaching in the Jagiroad College.
