GOLAGHAT, Dec 31 � The closing function of the bicentenary celebration of the historic Cinatally Bornamghar in Golaghat district will be held from January 3 with a three-day programme.
For the purpose a celebration committee has been constituted with Rosheswar Saikia as the president and Ananta Saikia as the secretary. Publicity secretary Samiran Duara in a press release stated that with a total budget of Rs 50 lakh a new building of the historic shrine was constructed besides undertaking several social welfare and development activities in its vicinity. The local people also joined hands to repair the road leading to the namghar.
