GUWAHATI, Aug 26 - Betkuchi High School of Guwahati, representing Assam entered semifinals in the U-14 Subroto Cup. In a quarterfinal match played in New Delhi today, Assam team defeated Meghalaya opponent 5-3 in penalty shoot-out.
In the regulation time the match was ended in a 2-2 draw. For Betkuchi Satyajit Bey scored both the goals in the regulation time.
In the shoot-out Mintu Barman, Satyajit Bey and Nayan Rabha were the successful shooters. Goalkeepr Mithinga Daimary made two brilliant saves in the tie breaker.
