GUWAHATI, Aug 27 - Guwahati-based cafe-restro, Piazza, won the �Best Italian Restaurant of the Year�East� at the 9th Annual Indian Restaurant Congress 2019 held in Delhi recently. BJP national vice president Shyam Jaju presented the award to promoter Vinay Chamaria and director Rajarshi Pathak.
�We started Piazza as an Uber-caf� and it has evolved into something really aspiring because of the love and faith of our customers,� Chamaria said.
The Indian Restaurant Congress Award is a platform where innovators get felicitated for their business excellence and for taming the business challenges.
