GUWAHATI, July 14 - In a bid to promote the sport in the State, the Basketball Association of Assam (BAA) will conduct a 15-day summer coaching camp at its RG Baruah Sports Complex court here from tomorrow.
NIS and former national coach, Prasanna Jayasankar who also represented India as captain will impart training to the players. He is also the current coach of the Indian Railways team, revealed the organisers at a press meet here today.
The camp will feature players in the U-16, 14 and 19 categories while it will also include a category for beginners. Among those present during the occasion were BAA president Pulak Goswami and secretary Mukut Medhi.
