GUWAHATI, Jan 18 � The three-day final match of the Plate Group Nuruddin Ahmed Trophy Senior Inter District Cricket Championship poised interestingly on the second day.
At the Barsapara stadium here today, Barpeta took 37-run first innings as in reply to their 199, Tinsukia were all out for 162.
But in the second innings Barpeta lost nine wickets for 113 and took an over all lead of 150 with one wicket in hand.
For Tinsukia Amit Agarwal top scored with 49 while Abhilash Gogoi contributed 41.
In Barpeta�s second innings spinner Bikash Chetry again came down heavily and took five wickets for 50. Sunil Bhargav removed five scalps for 43. Parthajit Das is batting with 32 for Barpeta.
