Baptist Church programme from April 9

GUWAHATI, April 3 - Guwahati Baptist Church has planned a week-long programme to commemorate Good Friday and Easter. The programme will begin on April 9 with Palm Sunday Service in the church at Panbazar which will be preceded by a procession with palm leaves by children. From April 10 to 13, Passion Week's prayer meeting will be held in the evening. The Good Friday service will be held on April 14 at 1.30 pm after a fasting prayer meeting in the church. Sunrise service has been slated for April 16 at the Nabagraha graveyard and on the same day Easter service will be held at the church. Pastor A Haque said church leaders will offer prayers for the sick and elderly members during the week.
