TEZPUR, March 30 � Renowned Bangladeshi artist Lobna Moriam visited Jyoti Bharati, Kala Guru Bishnu Prashad Rava Samadhi Khetra, Bhairabi Temple and Tezpur Government Higher Secondary school where Dr Bhupen Hazarika studied in earlier stage, here.
The noted dancer and the architect was felicitated by the Sonitpur district administration and the Tezpur Sahitya Sabha after her arrival.
While talking to media here, the artist mentioned that she knew Dr Bhupen Hazarika and his works. She visited Tezpur to know more about the legendary artist from his childhood days, she added. She narrated about the culture of the both the countries. The culture must be preserved in our society otherwise it might be ruined in the course of modernisation.
She further added that the noted writer Taslima Nasreen, who was in exile for a long period would return to Bangladesh.
