NOWBOICHA, Jan 21 � Under the aegis of Bane Agam Kebang (BAK), a public meeting was held at the Pahumora Higher Secondary School on January 17 in which it was decided that the Central Bane Agam Kebang special conference will be held on March 9 and 10 respectively.
The meeting was presided over by Bandhuram Pawegam, ex-president, Bane Agam Kebang. Purna Kr Chintey, chief general secretary, central committee, Mising Agam Kebang (MAC) addressed the meeting. Eminent persons of Lakhimpur Uma Gogoi, working president, District Ahom Sabha, Prodeep Boruah, ex-president, Nowboicha Sakha Sahitya Sabha, Kamal Bora, president, Pahumora Sakha Sahitya Sabha, Renuprabha Morang, ex-president, Pahumora Sakha Sahitya Sabha, Umananda Boruah, president, Nowboicha Sakha Sahitya Sabha, Dhana Prabha Mili Taw, Jeuti Paegam, GJ Tayegu, Deva Ranjan Morang, Dilip Pegu, Thogira Bori, retired teacher, and others also spoke at the meeting which was a special conference of BAK at Nowboicha area.
The meeting proposed to hold the BAK in Baundoloni�s Gagan Payeng Khetra at Tirthanath Morang auditorium near river Ranganadi . The meeting formed a reception committee with Bandhura Pawegam as president, Gangajyoti Tayegam as working president, Pabin Kr Morang as general secretary and taking various members and sub-committees with it.
