GUWAHATI, May 1 � Bajali were no match for Sivasagar as they suffered a huge 217-run defeat at the hands of Sivasagar in a group league match of the Umananda Bora Memorial U-13 Inter District Cricket Tournament. Batting first at the Barsapara stadium here today, Sivasagar gathered a mammoth 259 for the loss of five wickets in the allotted 40 overs. The highlight of the Sivasagar innings was two half centuries by Master Jarzoo Mili (57) and Pramoth Dutta (52).
Chasing the huge target, the Bajali boys failed to counter the Sivasagar bowling and were all out for 42 in 23.4 overs.
