Bail plea hearing of ULFA leader on Dec 3

GUWAHATI, Nov 26 - The bail application of ULFA leader Babul Goswami in connection with two TADA cases against him will be heard by the Designated Court here in its final disposal on December 3, the TADA Sessions Court ordered today.

The public prosecutor has also been asked to disclose the stand of the State government on that date. Advocate Bijon Kumar Mahajan and associates will appear on behalf of the accused.

Moreover, Goswami will have to personally appear on December 9 and he will also be given the documents related to the trial, which he will face.

In both the TADA Sessions Court cases where Babul Goswami is an accused � the Designated Court at Guwahati is trying TADA cases � the proclamation and arrest warrant have been proved.

Both the cases relate to exchange of fire with Army personnel in 1993 including the one in Mangaldai where one B Devi got killed.
