MANGALDAI, Jan 6 - Partha Pratim Saharia and Junam Nishi Hazarika emerged champions in the senior boys and girls category respectively in the 6th Jivan Deka and Renu Deka Memorial Inter School Prize- money Badminton Championship organized by the Mangaldai Club in association with the Darrang District Badminton Association here in the Gopinath Bordoloi Indoor Stadium on Sunday evening.
Partha beat Arnab Sharma while Junam Nishi over powered Nisamani Deka in straight sets. On the other hand in the junior boys final Raisnuj Zaman defeated Sandil Sharma where as in girls section Nishita Deka smashed Lipasita Das.
In the sub junior category, held only for girls, Jyoti Rajbongshi crushed Krishna Baruah to clinch the title.
