GUWAHATI, June 27 � Baarhoongkha AC rallied to defeat Guwahati FC 2-1 in their home match of the Assam State Premier League at Kokrajhar today. Newson Kom put the Guwahati outfit ahead in the 31st minute and maintained the lead till the break.
But the host team bounced back to the game equalising in the 62nd minute through Pabitra Narzary. Lamminthang Touthang gave the Kokrajhar team full points scoring in the 86th minute. At Jorhat, Trinayanjyoti FC of Chabua outplayed host Jorhat Town Club 4-1.
Shankar Bagh (15th and 86th minute) and Sunday Ogar Ayuk (68th and 92nd minute) scores two goals each for the visiting team while Hemanta Garh netted the lone goal for the host team in the 48th minute.
