GUWAHATI, April 12 - Mahatma Gandhi University, Meghalaya organised a community awareness programme on school safety in collaboration with National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) battalion in its campus on Wednesday.
Vice chancellor of the university Prof Mohan Bhattacharya , K Wanniang, district disaster management officer, Ri Bhoi and Mahender Singh, team commanding officer, NDRF were present on the occasion. The programme saw experts demonstrating how to act in disaster situation.
