GUWAHATI, April 15 - In association with the National Health Mission, Frontier HQ BSF Guwahati conducted an awareness cum training programme on COVID-19 on its premises today.
The programme was attended by around 10 medical officers, including DIG (Medical), Composite Hospital Dr Shekhar Jaiswal, doctors of Composite Hospital, NDRF and Frontier HQ BSF Guwahati. The programme also attended by paramedical staff of BSF Guwahati Frontier and ambulance drivers.
Officiating IG KK Gulia was also present on the occasion.
The interactive session discussed latest trends about the virus, its spread, prevention and treatment.
Lectures on overview of COVID-19 infection, prevention and control practices, establishment of quarantine and isolation centres, their management and guidelines for management of COVID-19 patients were also discussed. Collection of samples of COVID-19 patients was also taught to all those present, and the same was practically shown through a video.
