GUWAHATI, Jan 24 � A cycle rally was organised here yesterday by the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd North East Integrated Office to spread the awareness on the importance of conservation of oil and gas resources. This was done as part of the Oil & Gas Conservation Fortnight (OGCF 2015) which is being celebrated across the country from January 16 to January 31. The theme for OGCF 2015 is �Indhan Bachao Jan Dhan Badhao�. The about 35 cyclists took part in the rally.
The rally was flagged off by KK Handique, Deputy General Manager (LPG), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd,� North East Integrated State Office, in the presence of other senior officials.
The cyclists were carrying placards with messages of oil and gas conservation for creating mass awareness among the general public. The rally was intended to draw the attention of the general public in creating mass awareness for conserving oil and gas resources.
