Award for city school

GUWAHATI, Oct 9 - NPS International School, Guwahati was awarded the coveted Green School Platinum Award 2016 during Green Building Congress 2016, an international conference and exhibition on Green Building and Built Environment, in Mumbai on Thursday night.

Over 3,000 delegates from over 20 countries, including host India, took part in the three-day event, which concluded today.

Handing over the award to the founder and chairman of NPS International School, JN Das, Ar. Tai Lee Siang, Chairman, World Green Building Council, praised the activities carried out by the Guwahati-based school. In his speech, Dr Prem C Jain of Indian Green Building Council also appreciated the efforts of the management of NPS International School to make the school Green, a press release stated.
