SILCHAR, Sept 1 - In yet another incident of alleged molestation of a student of Assam University (AU) Silchar, a faculty from the Department of Arabic has been booked by Cachar Police.
Cachar Superintendent of Police Rakesh Roushan informed that based on an FIR filed by a student alleging molestation by Nazrul Islam Barbhuiya, Assistant Professor of the department, Barbhuiya, who is the Head of the department, was arrested on Friday evening.
