JORHAT, Nov 3 - An automated teller machine (ATM) of Allahabad Bank was uprooted and taken away along with several lakhs of rupees in it last night by some thieves at Dhekorgorha Tinilai, three kms away from the city.
Jorhat Superintendent of Police Amanjeet Kaur said that the bank authority is yet to provide information about the exact amount of money stolen.
Police investigation into the case is on.
