DULIAJAN, Feb 11 - Continuing their resistance against the vexed Citizenship Amendment Act, the All Tai Ahom Students� Union Duliajan unit today took out a torchlight procession throughout the town.
The protest procession was participated by the Duliajan units of the Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuva Chatra Parishad, Sadou Asom Muttock Yuva Chatra Sanmilan, AMSU, Brihattar Asomiya Mahila Mancha, e-Rikshaw union and many other ethnic student organisations. The rally began from the BT playground of OIL colony and from there the procession marched through the daily market to OIL market. The anti-CAA protesters ended their protest at Old Bus Stand of Duliajan.
Rupam Gogoi, general secretary, ATASU Duliajan unit, Pallab Gogoi, general secretary, AJYCP Duliajan unit, Dibyajyoti Baruah, general secretary, Sadou Asom Muttock Yuva Chatra Sanmilan, Duliajan unit, Ranu Tamuly, general secretary of the Brihattar Asomiya Mahila Mancha Central Committee, Nazibul Ali, joint secretary of AMSU Duliajan unit participated in the procession among others.
