GUWAHATI, March 12 - A book release function will be held at Swahid Nyas, Uzan Bazar here tomorrow.
An Assamese translated version of the book The Ahoms by Padma Shri award winning writer Arup Kumar Dutta will be formally released by eminent writer-journalist Homen Borgohain. The book has been translated by a research scholar of Gauhati University, Parag Kumar Deka.
Another Assamese translated version of the book The Principia by Sir Isaac Newton will also be released. The book has been translated by Jayanta Kumar Sarma, professor at the Department of Physics, Tezpur University.
The books have been published by Orchid Publication.
