Assamese film Goru set to be released next month

GUWAHATI, Dec 22 - Amid the crisis that has been facing by the Assamese film industry due to the ongoing pandemic, Goru, an Assamese film directed by Himangshu Prasad Das, is set to release on January 23 next year across the State.

The film is based on a novel written by Hussain Mahammad Sahjahan and its script was prepared by Uday Bhaskar Pator, Himangshu Prasad Das and Hussain Mahammad Sahjahan. It is the second directorial venture of the director which starred Baharul Islam, Pakija Begum, Pranjal Saikia, Siddhartha Mukherji, Arun Nath, etc.

Produced by Gita Pathak under the banner of Crayon Tree Production, the film will be screened at various public auditoriums as per public demand across the State along with cinema halls.
