Assam Valley ranked 3rd in India

GUWAHATI, Sept 9 - Assam Valley School of Balipara in Sonitpur district has been adjudged third among the co-education boarding schools of the country, while Miles Bronson of Borjhar area in the city has been ranked tenth in this category in a country-wide survey conducted jointly by the Bengaluru-based education newsmagazine Education World and C-Fore. The results of the survey, named the Ninth Annual Education World India School Rankings 2015 and conducted to find out the top 1000 schools of the country in 14 categories, were declared on Monday.

Parents, teachers, senior students and educationists also voted in the survey and they highlighted the changing preference from pure academic-based education to wholesome education, said the organisers in a press release here.

Education World is Asia�s sole education newsmagazine published to �build the pressure of public opinion to make education the No. 1 item on the national agenda�. Currently, Education World has one million readers comprising teachers, parents and senior school and college students in 28 States countrywide.

The Education World has been conducting this survey for the past eighth year in association with the New Delhi-based C-Fore and this year it was its ninth year. This ninth survey was conducted in 27 cities and education hubs of the country to find out the top 1,000 schools of the country. The first ranking schools in 14 categories of the country would be felicitated in New Delhi on September 26, 2015, said the Education World in a press release issued from Bengaluru.
