Assam U-22 boys stage fight back

GUWAHATI, Nov 7 � Requiring 364 for an outright victory in the second innings Assam staged a fightback scoring 119 for one.

On the third day of four-day U-22 CK Nayudu Trophy match against Jammu & Kashmir at Goalpara today, the visiting team scored 295 in their second innings and took an over all lead of 363. Bandip Singh scored 107 while Manis Gupta was other notable contributor with 39. For Assam Sarupam Purkayastha and Dipak Gohain took four wickets each as Arup Das got one.

At day�s play Pallab Das and Arminder Singh Oberoi were at the crease with 57 and 35 respectively, Rishab Das was out for 19.
