GUWAHATI, April 20 - The Annual General Meeting of the Assam Tribune Sports Club was held at the Club house in the Tribune Buildings premises here today with president Hiranya Kumar Barman in the chair.
The meeting, apart from discussing various matters, took several vital resolutions for the next session.
General secretary Debasish Sinha read out the annual report where he mentioned about various tasks completed by the organisation during 2016-17. He also submitted last year�s account in the meeting. Adviser Nandaram Barman, general members Manoranjan Sarkar, Pranjal Hazarika, Samindra Deka, Tankeswar Kakoti, Siba Prasad Deka, Lokajit Das and Munindra Deka expressed their satisfaction over the developmental works of the Club. They also rendered advice for the new committee which was formed in today�s meeting.
The member of the new committee for the 2017-18 year are: Advisers-Siba Prasad Deka, Dugdha Ram Kalita, Nanda Ram Barman; President-Hiranya Kumar Barman; Vice presidents-Shyam Kumar Singha; General secretary-Debasish Sinha; Asst general secretary-Tankeswar Kakoti; Librarian-Samindra Deka; Sports secretary-Gautam Kakoti; Asst sports secretary-Hiren Nath; Treasurer-Khin Bahador Sonar; Members-Apu Mazumder, Dipak Mishra, Nareswar Bezbaruah, Munindra Deka, Amaresh Sinha, Biswajit Dey, Barambar Nayak and Anima Das; Internal auditor-Utpal Karmakar.
