GUWAHATI, Dec 31 - Conceding a 16-run first innings lead Assam scored 245 in the second innings leaving a target of 230 runs for Jammu & Kashmir. At stumps on the second day of the four-day Elite Group C Ranji Trophy match at the ACA Stadium, Barsapara the visitors were 19 for one.
Assam resumed at the overnight total of 6 for no loss and riding on a solid knock of 95 by Rishav Das and three useful scores by Sarupam Purkayastha (46), Amit Sinha (33) and Pallav Das (32) the hosts managed to notch up a decent total of 245 off 76.2 overs.
