GUWAHATI, Oct 3 - Assam humbled Odisha by seven wickets in their opening match of the East Zone U-19 Vinoo Mankad Trophy Tournament at the Bengal Cricket Academy Ground, Kolkata today.
Restricting the opponent to 239 for 9 in 50 overs, Assam scored 241 for the loss of three wickets in 46.5 overs.
For Assam, Saahil Jain top scored with unbeaten 86 off 65 balls. Abhishek Thakuri (57), Yasir Ali (50) and Riyan Parag (not out 36) were the other leading contributors.
