KALIABOR, Dec 19 - The 35th biennial conference of Assam College Principals Council will be held at Kaliabor College with a three-day programme starting December 20.
As per the detailed programme, the executive meeting will be held on December 20 at 4 pm followed by a cultural function from 6.30 pm. On the following day, registration of delegates will start at 8.30 pm followed by flag hoisting at 9.30 am. At 10.30 am, an academic session will be held on the subject �Assessment and Evaluation of Teaching Quality�. Prof Khanindra Pathak, Head, Mining Engineering of IIT Kharagpur will participate as speaker. At 2 pm, the delegates� session will be followed by a cultural programme from 6.30 pm.
On December 22, the open session will be held at 10 am which will be inaugurated by Water Resources and IT Minister Keshab Mahanta. The meeting will be chaired by Dr Balendra Kumar Das, president of Assam College Principals� Council, while Education Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma will be the chief guest.
The Vice Chancellor of Gauhati University Dr Mridul Hazarika, Vice Chancellor of MSS Viswavidyalaya Professor KK Deka and Babulal Sarma, Director of Higher Education, Assam will participate as guests of honour, Dr Hiranya Kumar Chaliha, secretary of the reception committee of the ACPC conference and Principal of Kaliabor College, informed.
