GUWAHATI, Aug 23 - Nandan Buragohain and Dhrupad Kashyap of Assam Chess Club will participate in the 8th Kandy International Open Rating Chess Tournament to be held at Kandy, Sri Lanka from August 25 to 30.
The tournament is being organised by the 64 Squares International Chess Academy which is a partner of Assam Chess Club. Over 700 players from all over the world are participating in this chess event which is recognised by the world chess federation (FIDE).
