By Staff reporter

GUWAHATI, Aug 19 - As in the other parts of the country, the Panch Kranti programme aimed at generating awareness among masses, particularly the youth, about the welfare schemes of the Narendra Modi Government will be launched in the State by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Assam Pradesh, on September 11.

This was announced by the BJYM, Assam Pradesh, today.

The youth body will continue this national programme till January 12, 2016 and reach out to the masses at the district, mandal and panchayat levels.

According to the BJYM, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as part of his commitment to improve the social status of the common man, has started many schemes for equitable welfare and these schemes have to reach each and every man.

The focus of the four-month-long programme will be on five particular schemes Swachh Bharat Kranti, Yog Kranti, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Make in India and Skill Development. The Narendra Modi Government has ushered in a revolution in the country with some outstanding schemes. The youth and the women of the country now see a hope in the ideas and policies of Narendra Modi. Whatever Narendra Modi is doing is not less than a revolution and no revolution is complete without the active participation of the youth, said a BJYM functionary, adding that the primary objective of the policies started by the Prime Minister is to fulfil the basic needs like food, security, homes for all, good health, education, job opportunities, safe water and cleanliness and hygiene.

The BJYM will take this initiative to involve the youth in generating awareness in the society and explore various ways to execute the goals at the grassroots level.

Five youth leaders from the State BJYM have been trained on the five issues. The youth body will target students of colleges and universities and involve them in the programme.
