GUWAHATI, April 1 � The Assam Sports Journalists Association (ASJA) has extended its best wishes to eminent journalist Pronoy Bordoloi who will attempt to climb the Mount Everest in May next.
Bordoloi has been selected as a member of the Assam team which will leave for the expedition on April 3. He was trying to climb the highest peak in the world in the year 2012, but due to bad weather he had to pack up from half way.
Explaining about his preparation, the experienced mountaineer said, the team has been sponsored by the Assam Government and it was selected after a pre Everest expedition. This time he will utilise his previous experience and if luck favours, he will be able to put his feet at the top of the world.
The ASJA has handed over Bordoloi a logo of the organisation to place it at the peak if he could reach there.
