GUWAHATI, Nov 7 - ASEB Sports Club defeated City Volleyball Club 3-2 (18-25, 25-17, 20-25, 25-17, 16-14) in the final to lift the Khelon Das Trophy in the GSA inter club volleyball championship at the Judges� Field training centre here today.
ASEB spiker Abdul Baten was named as the best player and he received the Manash Pratim Talukdar memorial trophy.
The winners and runners-up teams became richer by Rs 5000 and Rs 4000 respectively. In the closing function trophy donor Dilip Das, sports organiser Ibocha Singh and APDCL AGM Rupantar Das gave away the prizes.
